Associate Degree
Our Associate Degree programmes, in addition to corresponding to the CTO Curriculum programme, are aligned with the syllabus of the University of the West Indies (UWI). A Memorandum of Understanding signed with UWI allows Associate Degree students to complete their Bachelors Degree with two years of further study there: a 2 + 2 facility.
The degree extends over two (2) years full time and three (3) years part time. Both options include practical internships at some of the highest rated hotels, restaurants and tourism-based organisations in the Caribbean.
Associate degree students also have the opportunity to study as exchange students at one of our international partner colleges.
As THTI is an approved educational organisation, recognised by the Ministry of Information, Technology and Tertiary Education, citizens of Trinidad and Tobago may qualify for financial assistance through the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses (GATE) programme.
