Admission Requirements
Admission to THTI is based on satisfaction of the following prerequisites:
Associate Degree
5 CSEC (CXC) or O’ Level (Cambridge) passes, including Math & English OR
CSEC (CXC) or O’ Level (Cambridge) passes in Mathematics and English plus 1 year in MUST, YTEPP, HYPE or any related vocational programme OR
Mature student (25 years & over) with 5 years experience at management level in the Hospitality and Tourism industry OR
Completion of THTI’s Pre-Degree Qualifier (PDQ) programme
Diploma
3 CSEC (CXC) or O’ Level (Cambridge) passes, including Math & English OR
Mature student (25 years & over) with 3 years experience at management level in the Hospitality and Tourism industry OR
Completion of THTI’s Pre-Degree Qualifier (PDQ) programme
Pre-Degree Qualifier Programme
Our Pre-Degree Qualifier (PDQ) programme facilitates those who may not possess the stated admission requirements. Delivered over approximately one month, this programme covers a range of subject areas from Information Technology and Mathematics to an Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism. Learn More.
