Dear Stakeholder,
Whether you are one of our oldest and dearest supporters or just now learning about the Institute, thank you for your interest in THTI. We are a tertiary level, educational institute committed to providing a quality learning experience for our students and quality graduates for the tourism and hospitality sectors.
This primarily requires providing relevant and structured learning experiences for students through internships and facilitating participation in activities particular to the industry such as regional tours, community based tourism initiatives, preparation and hosting of events and gourmet dinners, maintaining and improving our beautiful campus and inherited facilities, et cetera.
We need the support of individuals such as you: hotel/restaurant owners; tour operators; taxi drivers; souvenir shop proprietors and other industry players; education providers; governmental, religious and community groups; private citizens and the like to help us provide these opportunities and experiences. We urge you to invest in the future of tourism and in our students by assisting us in facilitating these opportunities. You can accommodate our students as interns; attend our regular, delicious student dinners and other events. You can even select us to cater for and manage your function or support our various fundraising initiatives. And of course, we encourage you to avail yourselves, friends, family or staff of both our regular and special academic programmes which range from short courses to Associate Degrees.
In the true spirit of hospitality and tourism, we believe in involving the community, both local and otherwise, in our core activities and development, making sure our students are aware of the connection between the survival and health of the tourism industry and the support of the general public and government.
